8. Abigail's First Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!  It kicks off the hot chocolate drinking and treat eating time of year full of pumpkins and pumpkin spice.

Yes we did carve a pumpkin!

 Abby was super helpful!

So We made our pumpkin look the sweetest little girl we know.  Check out the half moon eyes, and three bottom teeth!

  As someone who tries to act like an adult some of the time, it's always fun to have an excuse to dress up and act crazy.  Love it!

We went as a bee, flower, and gardener... Check out Brad's sweet purple garden tools!

Then we met up with some of Abigail's cousins

Uncle Norm had made his haunted house once again

Oh, scary. We had a softball tournament that night, so Norm didn't dress up like usual.  By the way, we won!

Abby even did some trick-or-treating of her own

Well, apparently the love of Halloween rubbed off on Abby.  Though she wasn't a fan of the tutu portion of her bumble bee outfit, she loved to play with the candy.

 And especially to watch all the excited children run around in costumes.  She kept talking to and smiling at everyone who passed.

 This has been Abby's favorite holiday thus far. We'll have to wait for some more Holiday fun!
